  • You operate as a self-employed individual or are employed by a business on the eBeauty platform (referred to as a "Partner").

We will process your information only for specific reasons which are permissible under data protection laws. These reasons are detailed in each section below and further explained in 'What do each of these legal reasons mean?'.

Visiting Our Services

Each time you use our Sites, we automatically gather information from you. This includes technical details, your visit information, and, if you consent, location data:

Technical Information

This may encompass the phone number, Internet Protocol (IP) address, login data, type and version of browser and browser plug-ins, device IDs, social login ID/email, timezone, operating system and platform, hardware version, device settings, battery and signal strength, and information about your ISP or mobile operator.

Visit Information

This includes the URLs visited, clickstream data, demographic data (age and gender), page response times, download errors, visit duration, page interaction data, campaign tracking (e.g., email links), methods used to leave the page, and contact details for customer service interactions.

Location Data

We utilize your country location (determined by IP address and/or Google Analytics) to provide services based on your location, such as content delivery, advertising, or other services reliant on location, including fraud checks. Location data can be collected with your device ID, enabling us to recognize your device on return visits.

We collect this data to:

eBeauty Service Use for Appointment Bookings

When you set up an account with eBeauty through our Services, we may collect:

  • Your first and last name.
  • Your date of birth.
  • Gender.
  • Email address.
  • Nationality.
  • Mobile phone number(s).
  • Your photo, if you decide to upload it (optional).

Should you opt to use your Google, Facebook, or Apple account for signing into eBeauty, we receive an access token that allows this process (providing us with your name, email, user ID, and profile photo, except with Apple).

We allot unique IDs to your eBeauty account.

As you utilize your account, we may gather details on your:

  • Purchase history, including product orders, appointment bookings, or voucher usage.
  • Favorites, such as preferred salons or gyms.
  • Account configurations.
  • Social login data.
  • Securely stored payment methods.

If offered, we might collect information about your service preferences, referrals, how you discovered our Services, or other user-generated content, like profile photos or reviews.

We employ this account-related info to manage your dealings with us, facilitating:

  • Maintenance of your eBeauty account.
  • Customer support services.
  • Your interactions, orders, and appointments with our Partners.
  • Processing and payment for your orders and bookings.
  • If chosen, booking home service appointments at your specified address.
  • Personalization of your experience, including suggestions for services, products, and Partners.

You may share consultation details or appointment info (such as date and time) with Partners. They may also request health-related information or other sensitive data through consultation forms on our Services (termed "special category data")

You can choose to receive marketing from a Partner. Partners may upload their customer data to eBeauty for marketing through our Services (eBeauty will not use this data for its own purposes). Partners are in charge of their marketing.

The Partner acts as the data controller for this info. Should you have inquiries, please contact the relevant Partner.

Partner Employee Information

If you are associated with one of our Partners (e.g., employee, contractor), we may collect personal and business information:

Contact information might include:

  • Full name.
  • Job title.
  • Company name.
  • Email address.
  • Contact number.
  • Login credentials.
  • KYC and ID verification outcomes (no document retention).

Business information could include:

  • Business address.
  • Business category (e.g., salon, spa, gym).
  • Content from consultation forms.
  • Appointment history and scheduling.
  • Point of sale data.
  • Payment processing data (visible only to our payment processors).
  • Analytics and reporting.
  • Client data and promotional activities.
  • Images and marketing materials.

We also handle non-personal data on behalf of the company, such as financial data and inventory.

We utilize this contact and company information to administer the Partner's account with us, which includes:

  • Sustaining the Partner's account
  • Offering Partner customer support, along with technical assistance for our range of business tools
  • Empowering the Partner to utilize our comprehensive suite of business tools, such as managing staff and scheduling appointments
  • Facilitating the Partner in conducting transactions and overseeing payments
  • Enabling the Partner to orchestrate marketing promotions through the Services
  • Allowing the Partner to feature on the eBeauty marketplace
  • Assisting the Partner in managing inventory and employing point of sale devices
  • We may reach out to Partner staff to assist them in setting up Partner-specific accounts with the necessary authorizations and oversee those accounts.

These actions are performed based on the contractual agreement we have with you or because of our legitimate business interests.

The Partner can’t access and manage your eBeauty account details. Partners can dictate the visibility of their information to Clients, including specifics of bookings, staff identities, and select profile data, promotional offers, ratings and critiques that may mention staff, pricing and discounts, as well as appointment availability and associated details.

If we send you offers, updates, or other marketing material from us at eBeauty

We may collect contact details such as your name, email address, and mobile number.

We may also collect your marketing preferences, which record your choices regarding the information you want or do not want to receive from us, including any opt-outs from direct marketing.

We utilize your contact details and marketing preferences to:

  • Dispatch offers, updates, promotions, newsletters, insights, and other marketing materials to you.
  • Provide personalized marketing, including suggestions for features, services, products, and Partners we believe you might find interesting.
  • Reach out to you on behalf of eBeauty if you are affiliated with a company we are considering partnering with, to discuss our Services and potential opportunities.
  • Contact you to gather feedback, including through surveys and other market research methods.

You can choose to stop receiving marketing communications at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link found at the end of all our marketing emails.

We may process your personal information if it's necessary for our legitimate interests or the interests of a third party, provided those interests do not override your rights and interests.

Our legitimate interests include:

  • Managing, enhancing, and expanding our Site and services.
  • Keeping our records current.
  • Understanding how you use our Services.
  • Obtaining your feedback and reviews.
  • Developing and improving our Services.

Who do we share your information with?

If you are a Client of eBeauty

We will share your information with our Partners if you have requested us to do so (for example, if you wish to connect with, order from, or make a booking with one of our Partners). We may share your contact and account information, and they will receive any other information you provide through eBeauty (such as completing a Partner's consultation form). Partners may use this information to manage your communications, orders, and bookings with them.

If you post a public review for a Partner (or any of their products in their shop on our Services), your rating, review, review date, and first name and last initial will be published on eBeauty. Other eBeauty users and members of the public may be able to see your reviews. Reviews may be published or syndicated on third-party websites. Public reviews will persist even after the termination or expiry of the eBeauty Terms of service.

If you work for a Partner

eBeauty users may rate the Partner you work at or for, and may rate you as an individual. Your individual ratings may be shared with the relevant Partner and may be publicly available on our Services.

We may publish limited Partner information (including individual and business public reviews and ratings) to other websites, for instance, so it can be included in search results or advertising (including online and offline advertising and promotional media, such as Google, Google AdWords, Facebook Ads, Twitter, email distribution lists, and third-party business partners and affiliates).

If eBeauty processes your information as a Client, Partner staff, or otherwise

We may also share your information with:

  • Any member of our company group, which means our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, and/or our subsidiaries who may support our processing of personal information under this Notice.
  • Our service providers, organizations who process your personal data on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions and the data protection law. This includes supporting the services we offer through the Site, in particular those providing website and data hosting services, distributing communications we send, supporting or updating marketing lists, providing customer support, facilitating feedback on our services, and providing secure payment processing services, among others. These organizations will only use your information to the extent necessary to perform their support functions.
  • If you create a Partner Account with us by using a Referral Link, the Partner who the Referral Link relates to may view the progression of your Partner Account.
  • If we run surveys, competitions, promotional campaigns, offers, or other occasional activities and you opt-in, we may share certain information with our commercial partners. We will provide more detailed privacy information at the time.
  • Our auditors, legal advisers, and other professional advisers.
  • If we sell or buy any business or assets, we will disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer.
  • Any person to whom disclosure is necessary to enable us to protect our rights, property, or safety, our clients, or other third parties, and to enforce our rights under this Notice or under any agreement with you. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud and cybercrime prevention.
  • If required to do so by court order or if we are under a duty to disclose your information to comply with any legal obligation. This includes exchanging information with law enforcement agencies, regulators, or other similar government bodies.

Where do we store your information?

eBeauty operates globally and may transfer your personal information outside of UAE country for the purposes mentioned above.

How do we protect your information?

All information you provide to us is securely stored. Our website uses secure end-to-end encryption to protect your information. All connections into our platform are secured using industry standards.

All data we capture is stored in secured databases and data storage systems with strict access limitations. We log and monitor all data access requests in accordance with our threat detection policies.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. While we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our Site. Once we have received your information, we use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access.

Payment processing

Payments made on our Services are made through our payment gateway provider Avenues World FZ-LLC , which operates a secure server to process payment details, encrypting your credit/debit card information, and authorizing payment. eBeauty can view pseudonymized cardholder and card details. In addition, eBeauty stores the following card information:

  • Card brand,
  • Cardholder name,
  • Card's last four digits,
  • Card expiry month and year

Information which you supply to our payment gateway provider is not within our control and is subject to CCAvenue own privacy policy and terms.

eBeauty may, from time to time, contain links to third-party websites. If you follow a link to any external websites, please be aware that these websites have their own privacy policies, and eBeauty does not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies or any content on external sites. eBeauty does not necessarily endorse the views expressed within external websites and has no control over their availability. Always check the privacy policies of external sites before submitting any personal data.

Retention of Your Information

We will retain personal information:

  • As long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, such as maintaining your eBeauty account, and
  • Up to six years thereafter to identify issues or resolve legal proceedings.

We may keep your data longer if a complaint arises, we believe there is a prospect of litigation, or we are aware of ongoing or impending legal proceedings. Certain laws may require us to retain data for a specified period.

If you opt out of receiving our updates or object to the processing of your personal data, we may retain a record of your preferences.
